Terms of Service

1. Service Description
Lawn & Snow Co provides residential lawn care and snow removal services in Calgary, AB on a monthly subscription basis. Services are fulfilled by independent contractors (vendors) vetted and managed by Lawn & Snow Co.
2. Subscriptions & Billing
- Subscriptions are billed monthly and renew automatically until cancelled.
- Your monthly rate is based on your lot size as assessed at signup.
- Optional add-ons (weed control, de-icing, seasonal cleanups) are billed separately as applicable.
- Cleanup add-ons (spring/fall) are charged upon completion of the service, not at booking.
- All prices are in Canadian dollars and include applicable taxes.
3. Cancellation & Pausing
- You may cancel or pause your subscription at any time from your dashboard.
- Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period — you will continue to receive service until then.
- Pausing suspends billing and service until you resume.
- No refunds are issued for partial billing periods.
4. Service Schedule
- Lawn care is provided weekly (May–July) and bi-weekly (July–September).
- Snow removal is provided on an as-needed basis during snowfall events (September–May).
- Exact service dates may vary due to weather, vendor availability, or other operational factors.
- We will notify you when your service is scheduled and when it is completed.
5. Your Responsibilities
- Ensure your property is accessible on scheduled service days (gates unlocked, vehicles moved, etc.).
- Keep your payment information up to date to avoid service interruptions.
- Notify us of any hazards or special instructions for your property.
6. Service Quality
If you are not satisfied with a service visit, contact us within 48 hours and we will arrange a re-cut or credit at no charge. We are not liable for pre-existing lawn or property conditions.
7. Independent Contractors
Services are performed by independent vendors, not employees of Lawn & Snow Co. All vendors are required to carry valid insurance and WCB coverage before serving any client.
8. Limitation of Liability
Lawn & Snow Co's liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the monthly subscription amount paid in the month the incident occurred. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Active customers will be notified by email of material changes at least 14 days in advance. Continued use of the service after that period constitutes acceptance.
